(In my search for interesting people, I recently interviewed a young woman immersed in a book. After expressing what I hoped to achieve through my blog, she was brave enough to share a glimpse of her life to a complete stranger.) "I don't think there's anything interesting in my life. My life more or less revolves around poverty and struggles. I don't know if your readers will have a take away from my life. But it's nice to have someone listening to my life story." (She continues after a breather) "I had lost my dad when I was 7. He committed suicide. But what was more distressing was when "society" blamed him committing suicide on my mother, claiming some baseless affair."

It must've been a tough time for your family, especially your mom. "Yes it was. But she always remained patient in spite of the entire backfire. This strength in her has always inspired me."

What about now? "Well, that was just the beginning. I had an elder brother. He got involved in a murder case and was put behind bars for many years. After he came out, he realized the agony our family had to go through because of him. He couldn't forgive himself. He took his life." (After a few moments of silence)

"My life has changed a lot since then"

"The only people who stood beside me through this entire ordeal were my friends. Back when I was in college, they were the ones who helped me to believe in myself. I feel very fortunate to have friends like them."

"Well, now I'm focusing on getting into a good government job. I've been preparing for a few months now. I'm pretty sure I'll qualify." I hope all the hardship you went through will sow you a bright future. "Me too."
